I have over 40 years experience in the live events industry. My background is Theatre where I trained in stage management, ‘hands on’ at Leatherhead Theatre. I specialised in Sound quite early in my professional life and spent many years with touring theatre, corporate events and a four year residency at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley.

I have also worked in the wine trade with two very specialised importers and then moved on to managing several restaurants around London but it is my love of the event industry that kept calling me back.

I have spent the last 16

years working with technical supply companies on events of every style. For half of the 16 years I was specialising in sound but latterly I have concentrated on the production aspect of events and two years ago decided to go freelance as a production manager. This has enabled me to spend more time working on the events and getting involved with the production, not just the equipment.

Over the years I have acquired a great deal of knowledge covering all the disciplines in this industry and I am now able to put this into practise.
